La Maison des Artistes
La MdA (La Maison des Artistes) is the association with national competence of all professional artists from visual arts stated in France created in 1952 by artists in a spirit of mutual aid and solidarity. La Maison des Artistes fulfills two complementary missions: a public service mission and a mission of general interest.

On one hand, La Maison des Artistes conducts a public service mission of census and of collecting social contributions of artists from original graphic and visual artworks. La Maison des Artistes is also collecting social contributions of Art dealers who is doing act of trade of artworks and/or remunerating artists. La MdA is composed of the headquarter (associative structure, law 1901, with the accreditation given by the French government), including an associative service where every professional artists can choose to join or not and social security services (secondary establishment) to which any artists and Art dealers is required to contribute from the moment artistic revenues are collected or artistic remunerations are paid. The associative service pursues a mission to support artists in their professional careers.

- a specialised support (social consultations, legal consultations, accounting consultations, tax and Prevention Committee, …),
